I am interested in commission work that runs the
gamut from photograph restoration to mural painting,
from caricature illustration to photo-realism. Projects
of particular interest are book illustration, editorial
illustration, and biographical collage. Please see examples
in the following pages.
On the “People”
and “Pet”
pages are portraits created
from photography, which are then transformed. subtly
or startlingly, with the computer. Some are simple, others
complex. Photographs can be emailed to me, and some-
times the most lacking of photos can make the most
interesting portraits.
The “Illustration”
and “Painting”
pages contain both
ancient youthfull doodles in pen and pencil, as well as
sophisticated fine art in acrylic on canvas.
The “Studio”
is where you will find a detailed graphic
description of process, as well as current projects.
There also is to be found an excerpt from my journal.
“About the Artist”
contains my BIO, a photo of me, and an
acrylic painting of the redwood canyon where I and my
2 dogs and 2 cats live and labor in the central coastal
mountains of California.
